As the Administrative Coordinator at DASH Counselling and Healing Centre, I bring over 15 years of experience in administration, operations, recruitment, training coordination, and client service across the non-profit, social services, healthcare, and staffing sectors. I am passionate about supporting efficient operations, building meaningful relationships, and helping organizations create positive impacts within their communities. I identify as an Indigenous woman whose connection to culture has been shaped through family, community, and lifelong learning. My Algonquin lineage flows through my patrenial side. I was raised in Deseronto, Ontario, and as a teenager moved with my family to Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory, where my connections to Mohawk family, community, and culture grew stronger. Throughout my journey, I have been privileged to learn from Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and Indigenous professionals from diverse Nations, deepening my understanding of Indigenous ways of knowing, wellness, healing, and the sacred medicines. These teachings continue to guide both my personal path and professional practice, reinforcing my commitment to providing culturally safe, respectful, and community-centered care.
